When peaceful protests broke out in mid-March 2011. Never imagined the protesters that their demands for democracy and freedoms will be an introduction to the largest wars of the Twenty-First Century, and still they who soon faced by the security forces and the disastrous war involving several parties.

The war has killed at least 384,000 people, including more than 116,000 civilians, according to a tally published by the Syrian Observatory for human rights.

According to the UN, more than six million Syrians have been displaced inside the country, many of them living in random camps, while more than 5.6 million Syrians have become refugees in other countries, notably Lebanon, Turkey and Jordan.
Civilians are paying the biggest price in Syria, where a decade of fighting has brought only destruction and chaos.

Since the beginning of the conflict in Syria, violence in the country has escalated. With no prospect of a political solution, the country has entered a dark tunnel of speculation about its consequences and ends.
